For those of you living locally, I'll be doing my first show with the Crafty Underdog this Sunday, June 12. It'll be a big shin-dig at McMenamin's Mission Theatre in NW Portland. I'll have a table full of Plush and some Mitts for Musing, including new cotton/hemp/lycra summer Mitts.

I'll leave a comment here about how the show went. I met some wonderful crafters which was great, but the show was sorely under-attended. I not only had no sales, but not even any lookers! The venue was much too dim for a craft show, especially as there wasn't even electricity available for crafters to light their tables. The music was at times too loud to have a comfortable conversation. Not at all conducive to interacting with customers.I also felt that the vendors' fee was too steep given the inappropriate venue and lack of promotion by the organizers. I give this show a thumbs-down.
