New Critter Development
I'm finally the space to work on some bigger Plush pieces. It's always exciting to develop a new creature, although working through a series of prototypes can be rather tedious. This is my first attempt at Bear. Cute in its own way, but not what I am going for! On to the next draft...
I've also been sewing up some "skins" for future creatures. I enjoy using up scraps on these!

Green Grin in Portland Monthly!
Here it is, my five minutes of fame =^.^= !
Green Grin is listed in the Portland Monthly's "15 Only-in-Portland Gifts article!" Yes, I am thrilled!
They liked my Mitts for Musing, especially the Kitty Faces.
Check out my Where to Buy page for shops carrying them, or if you'd like see a large selection of styles and sizes, find me at one of my Holiday shows.
Speaking of Holiday shows, Urban Craft Uprising does a great job of building anticipation for their Winter Show. There are lots of vendor interviews and give-aways on their blog. I love reading about the different crafters, and it helps me to make my shopping list. Here is my interview!

Magnolia Moms Shop 'til you Drop
My first craft show of the season is tomorrow, November 7th. Magnolia Moms Shop 'til You Drop 11th annual trunk show and coat drive. It is in Seattle! (see my Events page for details).
This season I am doing three holiday shows; two in Seattle, and only one in Portland, which feels rather strange. For some reason, this year most of my favorite, tried and true holiday craft shows are all on the same weekend. What's up with that?! Actually, doing only three shows is fine by me. I've taken on quite a few wholesale accounts this year, and things have been hopping in the studio. Phew!
If you were hoping to pick up a little Green Grin love and can't make it to any of my holiday shows, check out the "Where to Buy" page to see all the neato stores that are selling Green Grin product.

UCU goodies
I'm very happy with my weekend in Seattle and Urban Craft Uprising. I picked up several new wholesale accounts and am excited that Green Grin products will soon be available in Seattle area stores! I will post the stores on my "Where to Buy" page as they become available.
I absolutely adore meeting & chatting with my customers; it was such a treat to see familiar faces and meet new folks. A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by my table....YOU are why I do these shows!
I felt spoiled with all of the help I received from my wonderful family. My sister not only stuck it out with me the whole weekend, she was happy about it! Thanks to her, I was able to spend more time than usual strolling about checking out the great crafts, and chatting it up with other vendors. I met some fine, creative folks, made some sweet trades, and bought a few treasures.

Green Grin heading north to Urban Craft Uprising
The day before a big show is always a long one. So much organizing, packing, running around locating misplaced essentials, prepping food, figuring out my table display, sometimes even a little sewing.
